acad group GmbH: We turn ourselves upside down for you.

It is usually the simple things that inspire the greatest fascination. An amazing example of this is the spinning top or standing gyro or even tip top. If it doesn't turn, it looks like an ordinary gyro. However, if you put it into rotation, it not only turns itself but also the world of physics upside down. As a result of his patent application in 1891, the Munich-based physicist Helene Spelz published countless scientific papers dealing with this astonishing behavior. They range from mathematical simulations of stick-and-glide movement to the approach of a speed-proportional frictional force. Physics giants such as Wolfgang Pauli and Niels Bohr have also worked on this. It reports on a conference in 1960 at which there was heated debate about the turning point until Nobel Prize winner Niels Bohr left the room with the following words: Take a look at our current job offers and find out what exciting challenges await you at acad group GmbH.
